Chae Rim is one of my favorite Korean artist, other than Song Hye Kyo and Yoon Eun Hye. Chae Rim was first seen in the serial drama "We Are Dating Now" where Chae Rim plays a girl who is innocent and cute. now after a long time ago I've never seen Chae Rim again on television, what he might have retired from the world of entertainment? since married to a senior singer Chae Rim has rarely appeared on television to amuse fans, of course this makes the whole fans are sad but those all decisions Chae Rim to exist on television or decide to take a break a while.
Korean entertainment world has been very varied, is increasingly more prominent new character who is ready to amuse fans throughout the country and the world, maybe now is the right time for Chae Rim thought to work behind the scenes or play unique roles in the future.

Huh? She's still active in making dramas. She doesn't go to events or make other things aside from doing dramas but she's got a drama every year. Not yet this year though.

Yep, I am. :) She has always been out of the lime light. She's got a reputation in Korea as being someone very private, hence, she is rarely seen. She doesn't attend much events, and rarely accept interviews. She's been very quiet and can only be heard in news upon the announcement of a new drama, her appearances are usually connected to her dramas i.e. presscon, NGs, Making vids, usually drama updates.

Try watching All About Eve and Dal Ja's Spring. Those are my favorite CR dramas. :)
You might be shocked with her look in Dal Ja's Spring though since she allowed them to make her hair like that and to put a lot of make up but it will eventually grow on you and you'll love her character. :)
The Banjun Drama, its not actually a series but its a one story per epi. She did the pilot episode of it with Eric of Shinhwa. I loved it. You can watch it here, its just 20mins long:

Her dramas are usually good. If you're really a fan, you can even watch Good Job, Good Job also known as Job Well Done, though if you're not, I guess you better skip that one.
But I also liked Four Sisters, Oh Pil Seung & Bong Soon Young.
Oh My Lady, if you want something light and funny. Btw, this is her latest drama.
Powerful Opponents too was enjoyable but many were a little mad because of the ending as it was open ended.
If you want something heavy where CR's character cried a river of tears, aside from Job Well Done, there's Love at the Aegean Sea and Warriors of the Yang Clan (not so much crying on Warriors but its more of an against all odds kind of love story).
Sorry for the too many posts. Just wanna show you how she improved a lot through the years. That is if you have the time to watch. :)

almost 2 years since her last drama, i hope this year she make another goood drama.
Hi Anon, I love Chae Rim since All About Eve... She was very cute. She was so beautiful in 2001 drama (on the prairie). I am not sure why she looked so different in 2010 drama (oh my lady). Do you know why? She didn't look good in 2008 drama (powerful apponents), then she looked good in 2009 drama (good job) ???
