Johnny Depp (born John Christopher Depp II, June 9, 1963) is an American actor known for his portrayals of offbeat, eccentric characters such as Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series and Edward Scissorhands.

From Hell (2001)

The infamous Jack the Ripper case set in London of 1888. The Ripper has been running amok in the Whitechapel district murdering and dissecting prostitutes. Scotland Yard Inspector Fred Abberline, aided by his partner, Peter Godley, are on the case to figure out who this serial killer is and why he is killing these women in such a brutal manner.

Abberline is an opium addict and when "chasing the dragon" he is able to have visions of the future, a certain psychic ability that allows him to solve cases. As Abberline and Godley investigate the crimes, they become acquainted with the prostitutes who were friends and colleagues of the victims. Abberline begins to fall in love with Mary Kelly, one of the prostitutes, or as the nobles called them "unfortunates", being hunted down by Jack the Ripper. Abberline digs deeper and deeper into the conspiracy and attempts to solve the case before Mary Kelly is the next victim.

Hema Malini, The Real Queen of Bollywood

Hema Malini was born in Madras on October 16, 1948. A trained Bharat Natyam dancer, she made her debut in films with Raj Kapoor's ‘Sapnon Ka Saudagar’ in 1968. 

After a few moderate films she got break with ‘Johnny Mera Naam’, which turned out to be a golden jubilee hit, co-starring the evergreen Dev Anand. But it was with ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’ in 1972, that she established herself as queen of box-office. This double role as twin sisters won her the Best Actress Award.

The Doors (1991)

Oliver Stone's homage to 60's rock group The Doors also doubles as a biography of the group's late singer, the "Electric Poet" Jim Morrison. The movie follows Morrison from his days as a film student in Los Angeles to his death in Paris in 1971, at the age of 27. 

The movies features a tour- de-force performance by Val Kilmer, who not only looks like Jim Morrison's long-lost twin brother, but also sounds so much like him that he did much of his own singing. It has been written that even the surviving Doors had trouble distinguishing Kilmer's vocals from Morrison's originals.

Rihaee (1988)

'Rihaee' (Liberation) is based on a real incident. Amarjit and his friends work as carpenters in Bombay while the women stay in a little village on the Gujarat - Rajasthan Border. The story takes off with the arrival of Mansukhji also a carpenter returning to his village after many years in Dubai. The presence of a man in the village after a long time creates a total upheaval. With the status of a very eligible young widower he is much sought after in the marriage market and he plays for the highest bidder.

But being the rake that he is, he creates total havoc amongst the women not even sparing the good virtuous Takubai who is married to Amarji and has three daughters. He leaves after a while without getting trapped in the matrimonial snare. The women continue to lead their life of hardship and soon it is realized that Sukhi wife of Roopji and Taku are pregnant. Sukhi afraid of her hotheaded chauvinistic husband Roopji aborts the child while Taku decides to keep it. The men return Amarji is horrified to find his wife carrying another man's child. He insists that she aborts it but she stands steadfast wanting to keep the child. Rihaee is an expose on the loves and lives of this class of Indian Society.

Naseeb (1981)

Naseeb, a story of destiny and fate, begins with a lottery ticket. A drunk who cannot pay his tab trades his 'winning' ticket to the waiter, Namdev (Pran), instead. Namdev decides to share this ticket with his three friends Damu (Amjad Khan), Raghu (Kader Khan) and Jaggi (Jagdish Raj).

But when it turns out to actually be a winner, Damu and Ragu turn on the other two, murdering Jaggi and framing Namdev. Namdev goes on the run but Raghu and Damu intervene and throw him over a bridge into a river and Namdev is presumed dead. However he is rescued by a don (Amrish Puri) but no one is aware he is alive. Fast forward to ten years later - Damu and Raghu have used their stolen lottery money to build a fabulous hotel and make millions becoming very successful businessmen. Damu has used a share of his money to send his only son, Vicky (Shatrughan Sinha) to school in England. 

They have even employed Namdev's oldest son Johnny (Amitabh Bachchan), Vicky's best friend, as a waiter in the hotel. By coincidence (or by fate!) Johnny and Vicky who are the best of friends fall in love with the same beautiful singer, Miss Asha (Hema Malini). 

Julie (Reena Roy) is a childhood friend of Vicky's who is in love with Vicky, but he only sees her as a friend. When Johnny discovers this, he and Julie sacrifice their own love to ensure that Vicky and Asha get together. At the same time, John's younger brother Sunny (Rishi Kapoor) has fallen for Asha's younger sister, Kim (Kim). 

Kim and Asha also happen to be the daughters of Jaggi, the man Namdev supposedly murdered. Namdev returns soon after and plans to take revenge against Damu and Raghu for separating him from his two sons Johnny and Sunny. The lives of all these characters become inter wined and Naseeb becomes a poignant story about love, friendship, sacrifice, deceit, revenge and above all, destiny.

Kudrat (1981)

Chandramukhi is a pretty young woman who lives in Bombay, India, with her mom, Sarla, and dad. They decide to go on a holiday to scenic Simla, where Sarla meets her childhood friend, Kanta Gupta, who lives there with her Psychiatrist son, Naresh. Chandramukhi and Naresh are attracted to each other much to joy of their respective parents. 

Then on the first night in Simla, Chandramukhi has a nightmare where she sees herself chasing a man. The second night she has the same nightmare, prompting Naresh to hypnotize her, and walks her through her adult life, then to her younger years, and then to her past life. Unable to proceed further, as he has no experience in this field, Naresh stops. 

Then Chandramukhi's condition keeps on getting worse, she feels herself being attracted to former resident of Chandigarh, and now Simla's Public Prosecutor Mohan Kapoor, who is to marry Advocate Karuna , the daughter of wealthy Choudhury Janak Singh. 

When Mohan begins to fall in love with Chandramukhi, and tells about this to Karuna, she decides to step aside and let him marry her. when Karuna invites Mohan and Chandramukhi over to her father's house - the very day he has decided to announce her engagement with Mohan - Chandramukhi reacts with a terrified scream in Janak's presence - an incident which will result in the investigation of sexual molestation and the subsequent murder of a village belle named Paro over 20 years ago. The perpetrator of these crimes is still at large with very little evidence to show that he actually did rape and kill Paro.

Krodhi (1981)

Unaware of his parents, as he was abandoned as a young child, Vikramjit Singh alias Vicky grows up amidst hatred. The only affection he receives is from the local school-teacher, Shakarbaba, and a young girl named Aarti. 

Vicky educates himself by reading all possible books. He keeps in touch with Aarti, and they grow up in love with each other. 

On the day Vicky decides to propose for marriage to Aarti, she is sold by her lecherous uncle for a few thousand rupees, to a group of men who attempt to rape her, but she kills herself. Enraged by this, Vicky hunts down her uncle, and her molesters and kills them by throwing from a high-rise building. Vicky's anger prompts him to more daredevil deeds, and he ends up becoming the ultimate underworld don with a private army of his own. 

Then one of his associates, Neera, gets married to CBI Officer Kumar Sahni, and Vicky is on the run, and believed to be dead when his bullet-proof crashes. Years later Neera comes to visit her in-laws in a small town, and is introduced to a kind and saintly person with special powers for healing named Shradhanand. She is shocked to find that Shradhanand is none other than Vicky. Now Vicky will have to decide to run again, or kill this only witness, and continue living without any trouble for the rest of his life.

Jang Nara

Early life

As a child, Jang spent most of her childhood in her birthplace, Seoul, but appeared with her father in a play, Les Misérables, in her primary school days, thus sparking her interest to become an actress. Jang also went on to become an advertisement model for some CF advertisements in her high school days before entering into the Department of Theater, the Faculty of the Art in Chungang University around March 2000.

Music career

Jang also moved into singing by releasing her first album with the title song, "Burying My Face In Tears", and selling 300,000 copies in the process. According to fans, the song was applauded as harmonized native melody line and her native vocal. Her pop ballad style song, Confession and the April Story, was ranked at the top in various music charts. Thus, this resulted in Jang holding a 'Live' music TV programme in the MBC music camp.

Acting career

Jang also has a successful acting career, in which she appears in a TV Sitcom, "New Nonstop", with famous Korean young stars such as Park Kyung-lim and Yang Dong Geun. Together with Jang Hyuk, she also played the leading role in a record-breaking TV drama, "Successful Story of a Bright Girl", which recorded very high audience rating.

In recent years, she has starred in a drama in China, called "Bratty Princess". Being the lead actress, she has attracted much affection from Chinese speaking fans and has become quite popular in Chinese speaking countries in Asia. She has also released a few Chinese language CDs. Her first Chinese album was a huge success in China, featuring her previously released Korean songs translated into Chinese. The Chinese versions of "Sweet Dream", "It's Probably Love" and "I'm After All A Woman" (frequently cited as "I'm a Woman Too") have become very popular on radio throughout Asia. She has performed many concerts in China, often singing both Korean and Chinese songs. Recently she released another Chinese album called "Kung Fu". The video for the song featured her in red 'qipao' (Chinese women traditional dress), fighting villains, and dancing with a cute panda. She is also in the 2008 Olympic song "Beijing Welcomes You".

Homogenic is a electronical band from Bandung, Indonesia. they was formed in 2002 by risa and dina who has some college in bandung, the style of music of homogenic is immitate bjork's what known as electronical dark music. In the beginning, the band took a minimalist approach to song-writing, even with the beats and notes that infused their music. Equipped only with a keyboard, they were able to write several songs. The vocals were by Risa while Dina concentrated on arranging the music.

Fin.K.L was a K-pop girl group that debuted in 1998. Their name stands for Fine Killing Liberty, and was intended to mean that the group stood against "the oppression of all freedom" (fin means "ending" in French. The group's name was selected by a poll of young people by the record company before the group's inception. 

This is the reason for the lack of clear meaning in Fin.K.L's English name, for the Korean name was selected first. Fin.K.L was one of the most popular girl groups in Korean pop, along with S.E.S. and Baby V.O.X.. Fin.K.L won numerous music awards until its unofficial end in 2002, when all of the members pursued solo careers in different areas of entertainment. Although they regrouped for a digital single in 2005, the group has since unofficially disbanded again, as each member has left DSPent and has signed with different companies. There has been no official word on the group's status.

Chae Rim

Park Chae-rim (born March 28, 1979) is a South Korean actress. She was noted for her role in the MBC drama All About Eve. Park made her debut in the drama Kaist. She is widely known and addressed as "Chae Rim" to many of her fans as well as fan propaganda magazines. 

Park married singer Lee Seung-hwan (14 years her senior) on May 24th, 2003. On March 31st, 2006, Lee's agency "Cloud Fish" released news of the couple's divorce. The reason stated was because of the couple personality differences, which caused the couple to separate since early December 2005.
